Has Anyone Done Anything?

We are adding about 4 billion dollars daily to the national debt. The Post Office has been in the news recently as congress is proposing to provide massive sums of money to keep the outdated business model propped up that has driven it to bankruptcy rather than let the postmaster general make the hard choices necessary to fix its money problems. This got me to thinking, has there been any sacrifice, painful choices made or bitter medicine administered by any government institution that would be necessary to repair the economy or has every solution to every financial problem to borrow more money from China? clarlarc
