Houses Divided

Our country is split into two camps, conservative and liberal. Our differences have become sharper and more divisive over recent times and especially so as the democratic party became under the control of the most radical elements within its ranks and with the flight of its moderate wing to republican or independent camps the need to attract even those once considered unacceptably extreme became a reality for survival. This creates basically two countries living one inside the other with irreconcilable differences and is reminiscent of what theoretical physicists refer to as a parallel dimension where there is a world right next to you that can not be seen, except ours can be seen. In the theoretical sciences world these two worlds merging would be catastrophic and most believe that our politically split world will eventually explode in some similar fashion. Perhaps we should split the country into two halves now to avoid the inevitable if nothing is done. clarlarc
