President Forced To Confront The Man Caused Disaster
Looks like even a bed-wetting liberal with best of intentions can not avoid conflict in the middle east these days. Oh sure, he gave it a valiant try. pulling our tropes out, flushing all our hard fought gains down the toilet, returning everything back over to the whims of the bad guys, ignoring their many flagrant atrocities as well as his own military advisers advice repeatedly. Yes, our commander in chief was able to keep his head buried deeply in the sand until the videos started appearing. Oh, how he must have wished for smarter terrorists, ones with enough sense to not video tape such things, or perhaps another crazy preacher with an inflammatory video so it could be blamed on us instead of them. Backed into his pathetic little corner with no way out other than the unthinkable for him, otherwise known to the rest of us as self-preservation, he has had to pry his head out of the sand and confront the latest chapter in this man caused disaster. I do not hold out much hope for success here because everything the liberal touches becomes a disaster and this latest attempt to stop the nut jobs of the world from acting according to their wishes will probably amount to very little other than providing an example for future military historians of how to do things wrong. cjpost

Tired Of Things Before They Happen
I am already tired of the next presidential campaign before it has even started. I suppose that might be due to the fact that democrats are once again scraping the bottom of their disgusting barrel of potential candidates and have found two they like, Hillary and Joe. The American people have demonstrated clearly in recent times that they will vote for the least qualified, idiotic person imaginable so it is entirely possible either of these two sad specimens could be the next president and that gives us who have a preference for a supreme leader somewhat more confidence inspiring than one dressed in a straight jacket residing at the local insane asylum little to look forward to. I am not yet sure whether republicans are capable of anything other than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory meaning it could very well be the case that we will find ourselves stuck with another dimwit in the oval office we are all ashamed of. So, all we have to look forward to the very real possibility of a president who, should Alzheimer's strike, it would be considered an improvement in brain function, or his female counterpart who, though less gaff prone, has nothing useful to offer. If something else happens other than this predictable boring stupidity wake me up, I'll turn the TV back on. cjpost

The War Is Not Over.
In the aftermath of 9/11 the Bush administration looked for, but could not find, Osama bin Laden. After much effort it seemed Bush made a conscience effort to de-emphasize Osama bin Laden's importance causing many to wonder why our primary goal was no longer important. It should be acutely clear now why Bush was correct to do this. Once bin Laden had burrowed himself into the deepest recesses of one of the thousands of caves in one of the thousands of Afghan mountains no one could find him but, he could essentially do absolutely nothing except hide. At the same time it became clear that the liberals looked at Osama bin Laden's capture or death as the end goal and had not been paying attention when we as a nation recognized we had just engaged on a very long and necessary war, The Global War on Terrorism. It was obvious our enemy in this war had many generals, not just one. The enemy had, and still has, untold thousands of soldiers as well as many countries willing to lend comfort and support to their evil cause. Liberals were doing what they always do and treating 9/11 like a crime and Osama bin Laden like the criminal who did it with the idea that his capture or death would mean end of story, game over, problem solved. This was made clear when Osama was finally found and killed after Obama became president and shamelessly ran victory laps continuously along with his trusty sidekick clueless Joe until even his most ardent supporters seemed embarrassed. It was clear they thought the war was over and they declared victory and pulled out of the battle and went home. This left our enemy with the opportunity to strengthen themselves and become more dangerous than they were before. Now we find our enemy is acting up again, commititng untold atrosities and waging war at will wherever they choose, totally unhindered or opposed by us. Soon, we ourselves will be stung again and the liberals will once again call for death to the bee that did it while anyone with any sense knows until you destroy the bee hive you have done very little to protect yourself by killing one bee. cjpost

President In Photo Op States "Not Interested In Photo Ops"
After his photo op with Texas Governor Perry, Obama said he would not visit the Texas border to see for himself the immigration disaster he (Obama) had created because he was not interested in photo ops. He had to speak quickly because he was late for his next photo op with Colorado Governor Hickenlooper. Later, he had a meeting with Superman seeking advice on how to stop an unwanted alien invasion and, you guessed it, there was a photo op...cjpost

Surely The Liberal Could Do Nothing Stupid For At Least One Day
It would be nice to get through one day without some pathetic reminder of this current idiot president we have sticking his nose in our business. This morning I noticed an article in the monthly publication the electric co-op sends out titled "EPA dictates utility rules to states." It seems the idiot president we have issued an executive order authorizing the EPA to dictate to the states which energy sources each is allowed to use taking that authority away from utility companies and state utility regulators and putting it in the hands of a few bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. with no expertise in, nor any responsibility for, providing reliable electricity at affordable rates. This stupidity is all part of the retarded effort of liberals to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The problem is, all studies related to this fiasco show no discernible effect on global CO2 emissions but significantly rate increases for consumers. Essentially this means, we are making a change for no reason that does nothing except increasing the price of the product. I did not make it through this day without my daily pathetic reminder of what it means to have a liberal president, perhaps tomorrow will be the day, one can always hope. cjpost

The Greatest Among Us
There are great men and great women who few of us would find ourselves worthy to be compared with who fought for, died for, suffered injury for or simply stood ready to do so, to ensure our freedom. Many of them bear the scars, some seen, some unseen, and wear them to the grave where at last they will be set free from the burden they agreed to bear for us. These are the selfless ones among us, the soldier, the guardian to the gates of freedom and liberty. Because of our soldiers those who attempt to break through these gates will, to put it politely, die trying. The enemies soldiers serve one man, our soldiers serve all men, so you see, failure is simply not an option. Their sacrifice can never be paid for but we can, on this day, thank them and thank God for them. On that day their burden is lifted they will surely hear "Job well done, good and faithful servant" but until then they should hear it from us today and every day. Happy 4th of July. cjpost

The Law Is Just Another Drug
I am not sure how this idea that government is good gained acceptance. Perhaps it takes the occasional charismatic demagogue with a mysterious skill of persuasion to cause that portion of our flock with little capacity of deductive reason to plunge over the cliff's edge with wild abandon. However such unfortunate things happen there is always the point where those who jumped wish they hadn't because one's life is much worse when, after the exhilaration of the fall, one hits bottom. Government is not good. Government is Force, government is Law. Law is similar to a drug, Drugs are Bad. The doctor prescribes a drug to the patient knowing the drug is bad but the alternative is worse. A drug does not discriminate, it might cure one's ailment but injure one's body at the same time. The law is much the same, it might address some problem but it causes harm to liberty or freedom. A good doctor will only prescribe a drug when there is no other option and the alternative is worse. There was a time we viewed the law in like manner to a drug and only turned to it as last resort. We now turn to the drug of law as our preferred first choice option in matters much better handled without without law and seem oblivious to the fact we are killing the patient. cjpost

IRS Don't Ask Me, I Won't Tell You Policy Related To Rope Shortage
It now appears to be the case that those we hire to take our money can do as they wish in that process, legal or not, without consequence or recourse. Further, it is blatantly obvious they have decided they are above the law and answerable to no one. They believe they have the right to "not answer questions" when asked by those we elected to represent us and ensure our fair treatment and so they don't and nothing happens. I realize that expecting one to feel a duty to truthfully answer any and all questions from those who pay one's salary has obviously become a foreign concept among government workers and agencies but still one would expect more even from those we expect so little. Information that would otherwise lead to some answers on matters at hand has mysteriously disappeared in a darn computer hard drive crash that seems to have erased the memories of both human and machine alike. It would seem the IRS is drastically in need of new computers and a code of ethics book for each agent written by someone other than the typical democrat. Meanwhile, these same friendly tax collectors deny us the same right they seem to think they have to withhold information and continue to vigorously punish any that are unable to provide any information it requests. The president who has caused or allowed this to happen along with a myriad of other such scandals seems to have added this one to his "phony scandal" list and will offer nothing other than roadblocks to our pursuit of truth in this manner. I am not sure where all this goes but I am reminded of the old saying "give a man enough rope and he will hang himself." I would say they have been given, or taken, a massive pile of rope in amounts not seen outside a third world dictatorship so I suppose we have quite a spectacle to look forward to in the not too distant future. cjpost

It Is OK To Hate The Government
Is it OK to hate the government? Can one be a good citizen and hate the government? I would argue that it is a prerequisite for good citizenship. Now, conventional wisdom, as espoused by the politician would have you believe exactly the opposite which is, "men should love government." This is nonsense and completely at odds with human nature which desires more freedom, less restraint, not the other way around. Now, at the same time one hates government, government is an absolute necessity if one expects order, liberty and freedom. Once man rejected God he was put under the law of man which is absolutely terrible but unfortunately the only method available to prevent utter chaos and basically teach us that when we choose to rule ourselves, it will be a miserable, pathetic and painful endeavor, but do so or perish, we chose that option, and now it is perfectly normal to hate it. Enter the conservative who recognizes government is a necessary evil and should only have power to do that for men which they can not possibly do for themselves. The conservative works to reduce government involvement in the affairs of men and give to men as much freedom and liberty and as few laws as possible. Then we have the liberal, who holds the opposite view which is, government is good and the more government control the better. This odd view is at war with how and why we got here. It would seem a rejection of God in favor of making man God yields misery and those with any sense at all would work tirelessly to diminish the misery not continue to enhance the very vehicle that dispenses ever increasing misery. If there is no belief in God or a desire to be governed by man rather than God I suppose this poor sole might love government, for us others, we hate it. cjpost

Here's Your Bonus And A Little Something Else
It looks like $62.5 million in bonuses will be handed out this year to the IRS to boost morale. Could they not have at least waited a month or two to let those of us who have just sent them money we don't have for things we don't need would be a little less aggravated. A large number of these people are apparently going to jail for illegally targeting conservatives for "special treatment." It must be a little awkward handing these little weasels a bonus in one hand and a subpoena in the other. cjpost

Shoe Throwing Inspires New Political Party
I'm not sure what to make of this shoe-throwing thing. Bush was the attempted target of a thrown shoe sometime back and now Hillary. What does one imagine will happen if a shoe is thrown at and somehow manages to actually strike someone he/she hates. Is there some expectation that everyone will abandon support of someone that has been struck with a shoe? Anyway, this bizarre nonsense gives me an idea for a new political party, The Shoe Party. It will be made up of mad but peaceful citizens who -Do Not- but wish they could, throw their shoes at any politician of a liberal mindset. Of course, there would be political rallies where demagogic liberal politicians would claim a shoe was hurled at them with no evidence to support it, but so be it. The Tea Party needs back up and the Shoe Party would compliment it nicely. cjpost

Do Unto Them As They Do Unto Us
Since our government has set the example of how to treat those it wishes to control as explained by that pathetic little EPA official who professed a "philosophy of enforcement," just like the Romans used to conquer villages by marching into town and crucifying the first five guys they saw, we should consider acting in like manner toward our government agencies that act illegally. If our public servants will not provide answers to why they acted in an illegal manner then we should perhaps march into their headquarters and crucify the first five guys or gals we see and continue in lots of five until someone is willing to talk. By crucify I assume it was meant to use the law and all legal methods to inflict misery until compliance is obtained. Nothing wrong with that, it's now the American way. cjpost

Government Has Granted Itself New Powers
I suppose, from what we are told, the government now has the right to take our money and at the same time use the same agency charged with taking the money with the duty of punishing political opponents of those currently in charge of the money taking agency and there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it. This is a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in and totally unacceptable. Someone did very bad things and no one will be punished, we will not even know who did it. Evil men tend to help themselves and have no problem harming anyone that gets in the way while good men treat others as they themselves wish to be treated. As long as men continue to yield more power to the state this non-sense will only continue in various forms. Why we put up with this is beyond comprehension for me and I suppose we have possibly become content with a government more powerful than its people rather than the other way around. cjpost
