The massive rejection of out of control spending and union thuggery in Wisconsin with the democrat governor recall scheme failing in such spectacular fashion, though predictable, is somewhat surprising. We have become so accustomed to selfishly self-destructive voting behavior from an electorate who too often follows a demagogue professing a message of "ask what your country can do for you" that when outcomes such as these occur it is shocking and refreshing. This is a very big deal with national implications and hopefully the start of reforms that will sweep the country and replace the idiotic orgy spending implemented by democrats with sound financial policy. cjpost
