The Politics Of Racism

Recent events involving white supremacists brought forth the usual condemnation for anyone or anything republican or conservative. Justification for this fictitious slander is provided once again, as always, by our societies pillars of virtue, the democrats and other assorted progressives, who tell us republicans are white supremacists or Nazis at heart, pretending otherwise to fit in, so naturally republicans have no problem with the view or message of those on their extreme right wing fringe. If there is even a tiny smidgen (a noun recently used by a democrat who was lying through his teeth) of truth to this, or not, then it should be likewise noted that the democrats have their own radical left-wing fringe which is every bit as bad, arguably more so, than any fringe group on the right, yet we never hear the same degree of condemnation expressed for those thugs on the left as we do for those on the right. Those on the right are viewed as pure evil while left wing terrorists are given empathy as they are the suffering casualties of evil conservative policies with no recourse but to resort to protest and violence, so we are told. So, once again we review what is the obvious truth to those who would listen. As the definition of racism has changed from something most would agree with, to something no one recognizes, we find a new war has started. Racism is no longer only defined as the unfair and unequal view or treatment of others based solely on their race or color. The definition has been broadened to include anything democrats or progressives decide is racist whether true or not. This means any spending cut, any spoken or written word or any art or statue declared racially offensive by democrats or progressives is now racism. The judges of what is offensive or racist are now democrats or progressives only due to the fact that all opposing viewpoints, mostly conservative or republican, are now racists under the new definition of racism. This destructive new campaign is designed to open old wounds and start a new racial war revolving more around opinion than fact. It ensures racism will always exist simply because its definition may be updated as needed to serve the purpose of those deriving benefit from this action. Racists can now be generated out of thin air simply by declaring something racist that is not and declaring anyone thinking otherwise, racist, because they do not agree with your opinion. It is impossible to know something hateful resides in a man's heart when his opinion differs from yours absent some proof but the progressive has no problem making this leap. This ability to read the motivation of another man's heart is an amazing new skill the current generation racial equality warriors have that their predecessors lacked enabling them to render judgement upon men similar to god who sees not just the actions of men but what is in their hearts also. These new age racial equality warriors realize the battle they claim to fight ended some time ago, so to remain relevant, energize their flock and regain status they need more racists so they simply lower their standards for who qualifies and congratulations, you're a racist. They declare something racist and if you don't agree, you are racist. The American people are not racist. We have extended all rights and protections enumerated by the constitution to everyone along with a long list of special laws and quotas designed to compensate and correct racial inequality. Just because modern day liberal politicians seek to impose new racial equality measures upon us and we don't agree to them we are still not racist. If one has done what he believes to be adequate to help another and later told to do more or he is a racist, this does not make it so. If the news media claims someone or something is racist this does not make it so. The media, now being comprised of almost exclusively pro-democrat, anti-conservative progressives, is no longer an unbiased entity one can depend on for truth. It is sad to watch others embarrass themselves out of desperation and one finds himself conflicted as to how to feel when such small minded people attempt to cause you harm with such childish arguments built on lies. It is like arguing with a third grader with little historical perspective who has no idea what he is talking about and you feel compelled to argue gently lest you harm a fragile mind but that is the case with most liberal vs conservative arguments. Conservatives simply have not figured out an acceptable method of telling the stupid among us they are stupid. The new racial equality demands now include a purge or a redefinition of anything or anyone related in any way with racial injustice as defined by the new standards, present and past. In addition to meaning we must judge past behavior by current standards, this also means a revision to all historical record to basically declare good men, bad, and every white person as racist. If this revision of our history to make our people, country and history evil were not being undertaken from within one would surely conclude only an external enemy would attempt such an action. Because most Americans are center-right politically and republicans have gained so much control in recent time while the current generation of democrats and progressives have lost a large portion of the electorate they need more victims to ensure enough votes to regain power or at least stay in the game and they are perfectly willing to sacrifice the futures of their own supporters in this battle. Imagine telling others the deck is stacked against you, so why even try, abandon your dreams because they will never be realized, essentially convincing an entire generation there is no hope for them because they are judged unworthy for what they are, not who they are, and promoting this lie because you want power. Who would continue to put forth the effort if he is convinced there is no use? Whose heart would not be filled with anger if such were the case? This new racial equality war has nothing to do with racism because remedies for this scourge were implemented some time ago. Little else can be done to help others except to wait for people to help themselves, which most have done. Unfortunately many prefer to, or have been convinced to, remain where they were and a whole political industry is intent on keeping them there. For some time now, it has been obvious this battle is no longer about racism, but money, power and more insidious, it is about the overthrow of capitalism and democracy. We see this clearly when considering how extremists are treated on the right versus on the left. It has long been noted the republican conservative movement has fought long and hard to rid itself of extreme right wing elements but little is said about an equally dangerous doctrine of hatred attached to the democrats extreme left wing. If radical elements of the extreme right wing associate themselves with Nazism and white supremacy it should be likewise noted the radical elements of the extreme left wing profess a Marxist-Leninism or Communist political doctrine. If one were to try to decide which is more evil it would be like choosing between the devil or his twin brother. Certainly in sheer numbers, Communism has killed men in such staggering numbers compared to Nazism it almost makes Nazis' look fairly harmless. Republicans and conservatives are given no credit for ridding themselves of their extremists while democrats and progressives receive only praise for embracing theirs. So, as democrats push their party happily to the extreme left and republicans push their party away from the extreme right and we see the media continuously report, republicans are bad, democrats are good, the exact reverse of reality, we realize we are in an all out war for survival of our nation as it now exists. Obviously, those in media responsible for reporting to us have an agenda which matches the agenda of the left and the media leaves no doubt it hates the right. If it is acceptable to call all republicans and conservatives, Nazi or racist, because some, they want nothing to do with, of this mindset might exist on the extreme right it should be likewise acceptable to call all democrats, communists. At the very least we should recognize that guilt by unwanted association is not the same as guilt by wanted association. But in this politically correct world things are backwards, when leftist groups silence the speech of others, commit murder, destroy property and the like, democrats never share any blame while republicans are always blamed for a white supremacist rally even though they do not know these people and do not want to know them. This white supremacist label sticks to republicans because it is continuously pounded into our minds that the words, republican, conservative and white supremacist and Nazi are synonymous by democrats and our extremely biased, politically correct news media which has become the megaphone of the left. The left yields to the wishes and often violent actions of their extreme left wing, overtly seeks their votes and allows them a seat at their table, yet the label communist is never used to describe democrats and no blame attached to their party for the actions of their extremists. In fact leftist politicians and the news media steer any blame away from the democrats in an obvious brainwashing campaign to absolve democrats from any culpability in the actions of their fringe associations. It appears, with this new definition of racism that the Communist elements have taken near full control of the democratic party and as Communists do, history must be rewritten so they alone are in charge of process and thought. The new history has been carefully implemented in our educational system that has worked tirelessly to make our children believe we treat others unfairly in this country because of race, the constitution is a living document and our nation's forefathers were evil racists. When these children grow up, the news media continues their disinformation campaign by pronouncing anything republican, evil and everything democrat, good. A receptive audience fed a one sided version of history and a one sided view of news and history tends to believe what it is told to believe. It is time for this nonsense to stop. The confederate flag and statues of southern generals do not mean, to us that refuse to let others tell us how to think, what others claim they mean. These symbols of southern history and culture are not about slavery or white supremacy. It is not possible for one person to tell another what is in his heart, mind or spirit. Each individual has the right to decide what things mean to him and refuse to let others define things for him. If someone claims something is offensive today that was not offensive yesterday he is an obvious scam artist, a liar or possibly under the manipulation of a demagogue. This new cultural purge is designed to energize the democrat base and scare enough of their voters to the polls to retain as much political power as possible and eventually overthrow our form of government. This new racial equality campaign within the progressive's social justice scheme is an ugly, desperate tactic but absent policies anyone actually wants, this and similar schemes are all they have. The silly thing with all this is we can all play this game and everyone can be shown to be evil if we accept as valid this type of leftist subterfuge. If you were accused of being racist because you displayed the American flag because it is a racist symbol to some are you a racist? The American flag, using leftist politically correct logic, could easily be considered the most racist of all symbols. After all, we stole this land from the Native Americans and treated them as sub-human, later we enslaved others under this flag, so why is not everything symbolic of our country evil and racist because to one particular group claims it is? The answer is obvious, we are not judged based what we were but who we are. Others can not judge us, those who judge themselves through another man's eyes find only condemnation. All we can do is to do as much as reasonably possible to ensure current generations of the descendants of those treated unfairly in the past are treated fairly today. We have done that in much abundance on behalf of others we never knew for the descendants of those mistreated in the past and should bear no shame or guilt in current time. Instead, we should be proud for who we are for and what we have done to make things right. Those trying to make us feel otherwise should be ashamed. We are brainwashed to feel guilt from the earliest age for something we had nothing to do with and those sick people infecting us with this unwarranted shame and attempting to distort our history and removing our statues and symbols are the evil racists, we are not. cjpost

Snatching Defeat From The Jaws Of Victory

Like the dog who chased the car and caught it, only to realize he has no idea what to do with the car, republicans obtained the power to get rid of the unaffordable health care act and now seem to have no idea how to do it. This is one of the most monumental failures orchestrated by any political party, ever, period. This failure redefines the meaning of the word republican in the minds of those of us who thought we knew. We have no idea what the word republican means now but rest assured, unless this failure is somehow fixed, the two words democrat and republican will now basically have the same meaning. Democrats impose something upon us we do not want, republicans will do nothing about it. A large part of the problem seems to the one thing we wanted, repeal, has been expanded to include a second aspect, replace. No one with any sense that was enraged by the government takeover of our free market health care system ever demanded or wanted a replacement. The demand was for repeal, get rid of it, do not replace it. There is no replacement better than what takes over after a full repeal, the free market. So if this embarrassing failure is not reversed who do we vote for to fix things next time? Ask someone else, I do not know. cjpost

Success Is Bad

Failure is not a good thing in politics but neither is success. Our political system is dominated by two parties which can no longer compromise on anything because the differences between them have become too vast. I would say, you can not compromise with those leading you to enslavement while those guilty of such would say they can not compromise with those refusing to allow them to do just that. So compromise is no longer possible and when one party obtains majority power it either forces its will upon everyone or nothing gets done. Anytime the state does anything it makes the citizenry, even those that supported whatever the cause, outraged. This is simply because the state is incapable of doing anything right. So, the citizenry grows weary of those in power, kicks them out, and puts the other guys back in power. This means whatever one group has done gets undone and those who made adjustments based on one set of rules now must adjust to a new set of rules and have to do this over and over. This is the problem with government. It can do nothing right even when it does something right. People are best left to make their own decisions and any tinkering with the free market by the state always makes things worse, not better. The lesson that should be learned, but never is, should be, keep the state as small as possible and deny it the authority to make others, including businesses, do things the way the state wants instead of doing things the way the citizen or business thinks best. cjpost

Russians Wanted Clinton, Not Trump, To Win

The idea that Trump colluded with the Russians and hacked the election is ridiculous but ridiculous is what we have come to expect from much of the left these days. Perhaps had they not cultivated a history of seeing spectacular monsters which do not exist we might give their current theory more than a casual, here they go again, eye-rolling smirk. Their tendency to delusional conspiracy theories seems to be an unavoidable reflex of liberal thinking. This idiocy goes back as far as we can remember, we were told in 1980 that Carter lost to Reagan because George H.W. Bush jumped on an SR-71 spy plane, flew to Iran and told the Ayatollah to not release the hostages until after the election so Carter would lose. They told us Bush Jr. blew up the levees after hurricane Katrina to flood New Orleans and used the left over explosives to secretly bring the twin towers down so he could start a war in the Middle East. There is an endless number of examples like this and they will surely continue to entertain us with new ones. I have decided to jump on this crazy train with my own conspiracy theory. One thing that bugs anyone who has thought about the election and the possible Russian attempt at influencing it is, why would the Russians prefer Donald instead of Hillary? No matter how many scenarios you evaluate your answer is, they would not. Trump is sure to strengthen our military while Clinton would have continued to weaken it, and like the useless administration before her, reduce the influence of the US around the world. So, is it possible their, the Russians, objective was not what we assume? Suppose they like everyone else assumed Clinton was the sure winner and in fact, the one they preferred? The reason for the ugly leaks then becomes different, suppose it was to create chaos, increase in-fighting among our political class and ensure continued legal investigations into Clinton's obvious illegalities? This outcome would be a win-win for the Russians. They got the president they wanted, Clinton, meaning they could continue to project their power and influence around the globe without challenge and an embattled US administration bogged down with scandal would be even less likely to develop any cohesive strategy to resist Russian aggression. This possibility is only conjecture but it is easily as much of a possibility, if not more, than the one offered by the liberals which makes no sense at all. cjpost.

Presidential Pardons Should Be Abolished

It is obvious certain presidents of certain parties should not have the right to grant reprieves or pardons. They have the authority under the constitution to do so but this needs amendment. It is fine when a pardon makes sense but some pardons by some presidents of some individuals leave everyone baffled, incensed, dumbfounded and mystified. We see again someone that no one would pardon except the president alone and wonder why one man should be allowed to act like a king instead of an elected official and declare a man innocent that all others declare guilty. It would not be so bad but certain presidents of certain parties tend to grant pardons to enemies of the state and bad people in general instead of those that found themselves victims of judicial over reach as originally envisioned. We need to amend the constitution so the president no longer has the authority to grant pardons because some presidents simply do not wield this power responsibly or even in a civilized manner. The power of the presidential pardon should be amended to allow the president to submit a list of names to congress for consideration of pardon. Congress can then decide whether a pardon makes sense or not. Some presidents of some political parties are simply too stupid to have the power of the pardon. cjpost

Useless Exercises

There are few things more sad to watch than a congressional hearing. Senators and congressmen from both sides of the aisle speak endlessly in the introduction to the festivities for what seems like an eternity about things no one knows because everyone quits paying attention half way through a sermon preached by someone no one likes who uses countless thousands of words to say nothing. One might easily conclude these parasites actually believe their words are of some value to some one, some where, but they aren't. When the questioning finally gets around to the actual person or subject of the hearing, which one could have easily forgotten due to the amount of time wasted getting to the purpose of the hearing in the first place, nothing is accomplished. Democrats seem to have no knowledge of the law or subject matter at hand and ask questions designed to appeal to their supporters and their narrow special interests while republicans focus on the subject very well, but too well. Sometimes acting in a way that is in the best interest of all is not best to some, and it is usually your some, not the other guys. So, as always seems to be the case, you have democrats perfectly willing to hit below the belt and republicans playing by the rules. Republican supporters would easily forgive, and even expect, an occasional below the belt punch in return for receiving so many unfair shots to at least signal some degree of outrage on our behalf. The nature of the whole fiasco means few leave happy because no one ever wins. It is just a show, wasting our money, pretending to show our representatives provide some value in worthless exercises such as these but occasionally an Oliver North or Clarence Thomas comes along and delivers a clean and devastating knock out punch to the democrats and we get our money's worth.
