It Is OK To Hate The Government

Is it OK to hate the government? Can one be a good citizen and hate the government? I would argue that it is a prerequisite for good citizenship. Now, conventional wisdom, as espoused by the politician would have you believe exactly the opposite which is, "men should love government." This is nonsense and completely at odds with human nature which desires more freedom, less restraint, not the other way around. Now, at the same time one hates government, government is an absolute necessity if one expects order, liberty and freedom. Once man rejected God he was put under the law of man which is absolutely terrible but unfortunately the only method available to prevent utter chaos and basically teach us that when we choose to rule ourselves, it will be a miserable, pathetic and painful endeavor, but do so or perish, we chose that option, and now it is perfectly normal to hate it. Enter the conservative who recognizes government is a necessary evil and should only have power to do that for men which they can not possibly do for themselves. The conservative works to reduce government involvement in the affairs of men and give to men as much freedom and liberty and as few laws as possible. Then we have the liberal, who holds the opposite view which is, government is good and the more government control the better. This odd view is at war with how and why we got here. It would seem a rejection of God in favor of making man God yields misery and those with any sense at all would work tirelessly to diminish the misery not continue to enhance the very vehicle that dispenses ever increasing misery. If there is no belief in God or a desire to be governed by man rather than God I suppose this poor sole might love government, for us others, we hate it. cjpost

Here's Your Bonus And A Little Something Else

It looks like $62.5 million in bonuses will be handed out this year to the IRS to boost morale. Could they not have at least waited a month or two to let those of us who have just sent them money we don't have for things we don't need would be a little less aggravated. A large number of these people are apparently going to jail for illegally targeting conservatives for "special treatment." It must be a little awkward handing these little weasels a bonus in one hand and a subpoena in the other. cjpost

Shoe Throwing Inspires New Political Party

I'm not sure what to make of this shoe-throwing thing. Bush was the attempted target of a thrown shoe sometime back and now Hillary. What does one imagine will happen if a shoe is thrown at and somehow manages to actually strike someone he/she hates. Is there some expectation that everyone will abandon support of someone that has been struck with a shoe? Anyway, this bizarre nonsense gives me an idea for a new political party, The Shoe Party. It will be made up of mad but peaceful citizens who -Do Not- but wish they could, throw their shoes at any politician of a liberal mindset. Of course, there would be political rallies where demagogic liberal politicians would claim a shoe was hurled at them with no evidence to support it, but so be it. The Tea Party needs back up and the Shoe Party would compliment it nicely. cjpost

Do Unto Them As They Do Unto Us

Since our government has set the example of how to treat those it wishes to control as explained by that pathetic little EPA official who professed a "philosophy of enforcement," just like the Romans used to conquer villages by marching into town and crucifying the first five guys they saw, we should consider acting in like manner toward our government agencies that act illegally. If our public servants will not provide answers to why they acted in an illegal manner then we should perhaps march into their headquarters and crucify the first five guys or gals we see and continue in lots of five until someone is willing to talk. By crucify I assume it was meant to use the law and all legal methods to inflict misery until compliance is obtained. Nothing wrong with that, it's now the American way. cjpost

Government Has Granted Itself New Powers

I suppose, from what we are told, the government now has the right to take our money and at the same time use the same agency charged with taking the money with the duty of punishing political opponents of those currently in charge of the money taking agency and there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it. This is a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in and totally unacceptable. Someone did very bad things and no one will be punished, we will not even know who did it. Evil men tend to help themselves and have no problem harming anyone that gets in the way while good men treat others as they themselves wish to be treated. As long as men continue to yield more power to the state this non-sense will only continue in various forms. Why we put up with this is beyond comprehension for me and I suppose we have possibly become content with a government more powerful than its people rather than the other way around. cjpost
