Closing The Barn Door After The Horse Gets Out

Moore Oklahoma officials applied for FEMA Grants to help provide tornado shelters for themselves and their children to protect themselves from the inevitable, and the inevitable just happened. Problem is, those FEMA grants were never granted. It seems local officials had been complaining for the last year or so about that the application process was basically impossible because of all the red tape and rule changing in the middle of the process our friendly government provided ensuring nothing would get done. So people died in far larger numbers than should have had our government been working to make our lives safer doing real things, not phony ones such as gun control. They would move heaven and earth to fast track a new gun law on the books that all know does nothing while real dangers get ignored. To those still naive enough to believe the new health care law does not include death panels I would quote Hillary's infamous recent quote but re-phrase it a little, "What difference does it make if you die because your government planned it or because it was incompetent?" Ironically, you can be sure politicians will be tripping over themselves now to dump tons of help and money on Moore because now they will get credit and praise for doing good. Unfortunately most of them are rotten to the core, attempting to receive some reward by showing up at the funeral of those whose deaths they could have prevented. cjpost

Some are drawing comparisons between Obama and Nixon, asking whether Fast and Furious Gate, Benghazi Gate, IRS Gate, etc, etc, etc, gate, gate, gate, compare to Nixon's Water Gate. To this I say, Please don't insult Nixon by comparing him to someone this corrupt. cjpost
