Takers and Givers

From birth you are either a conservative or liberal or more accurately stated, a Giver or a Taker. Some want to give to others so their work is influenced by a desire to produce wealth and jobs that others will benefit from while the takers care about themselves only and don't like work but realize that by taking from the givers and "spreading some of their stolen profits around" they can empower themselves and ensure a parasitic existence for themselves and their co-parasites. Conservatives are naturally Givers and Liberals are naturally Takers, no further evidence is needed other than considering how much the conservative gives to others vs how little the liberal does not to mention the fact that what pathetic little amount the liberal does manage to give to others has been stolen from someone else. clarlarc

Newt Is No Bill Clinton Nor A Hypocrite

The news media seem to think Newt is a threat to the socialist agenda with their current campaign of character destruction letting us know what we already knew. We are told Newt is a hypocrite because at the time of the Clinton scandal he was guilty of the same thing he tried to destroy Clinton with despite the fact that morality was never the issue for most, for most it was criminal behavior. Bill Clinton was found guilty of perjury and should have went to jail, Newt was acting immorally not criminally but the news media has blurred the distinction so most believe their subversion of facts in this matter. It is further pointed to as proof of hypocrisy that Newt pushed a "morality based" agenda and profited politically by pretending to be of high morale character while his private conduct was at odds with his public posture. This means in real terms that he was anti-abortion, pro-family, anti-gay, conservative, etc. These stances have never until very recently been considered evidence of morality based thinking but rather basic common sense. Liberals in recent history have charged conservatives with trying to push a morality based system which tears down the wall of separation of church and state and broadly define everything conservative to fall within that category. Newt never pretended to be a saint and the liberal media know it but they continue to tilt the story to suit their needs. clarlarc

Television Producers Requesting Smut Standards Be Lowered

The Supreme Court is trying to decide if it's OK to allow television broadcasters using public airways to broadcast their smut any time, day or night so we can enjoy hearing the F-Bomb and every other obscenity spewing out of our TV sets along with graphic sex, nudity and violence as a bonus. This subject leaves us conservatives torn between two major ideals; Government Has No Business Telling The Private Sector What To Do - AND - Liberty Is Not Possible Without Morality. The people could easily fix the problem themselves by demanding certain standards and simply shun those who do not comply. This does not seem likely as obscenity has slowly become normal and very little shocks anyone anymore. This must cause a problem for those who were once thought of as producers of cutting edge entertainment because their movies or shows featured obscenity which we have become used to and it no longer has any shock value and it almost goes unnoticed. Now these smut peddlers find they have to go back to work and figure out how to tell a good story to capture an audience. The Supreme Court will decide one way or the other and it does not really matter how it is decided as either way is bad. clarlarc

It is Illegal To Not Allow Religious Expression

The concept of the separation of church and state is a ruse deployed by The Church of No God whereby any religious expression can be denied by the state under the guise of noble cause while citing constitutional authority to act in a manner expressly prohibited by the constitution which states in the first amendment that there can be no law written which prohibits the free exercise of religion. Those that prohibit activity or expression on the grounds that it religious in nature are in violation of the law, not the other way around. clarlarc

Mitt Fired People So He Can Not Be President?

When Romney worked in the private sector he fired people. This devastating revelation made headlines recently which is apparently news to those among us who seem oblivious fools with no idea how the private sector functions. Maybe it's just me, but I have noticed people getting fired or loosing their jobs in various ways every since I can remember. On the other hand, I never see a liberal president accused of creating the conditions that leave many private sector businesses no option but to fire or lay off employees and not hire new ones. clarlarc

We Should Be The World's Police Man

The idea that we should not be the world's police man is retarded. Yes we should be the world's police man. The other peoples of this world speak weird languages, have odd habits, worship strange gods and tend to be at constant war. If it were not for us the rest of the world would self-destruct. Liberals want to gut our military and let the rest of the world share the responsibility of keeping the peace. This would be a huge mistake because if the rest of the world could do this we would not have evolved into the greatest military super power in the first place. If we are not the world's police man it simply means some one else will be. That means in the future China will call the shots, not us. Those who coined the overly-simplistic phrase "we should not be the world's police man" which so many adopt in effort to appear enlightened should be condemned and regarded as the fools they are. The reason we have what we do now is because we are the world's police man and unless we remain the world's police man what we have now will be gone very quickly. clarlarc

Freeloaders Must Be Dappointed

I wonder how the people who thought they would not have to pay their mortgage or buy gas after Obama became president feel now? The cost of gas, food, insurance, health care and almost everything else has increased dramatically under Obama while jobs have become scarce and those with jobs find their wages stagnated and benefits shrinking. Not only has free gas and free rent not become a reality, what we got with Obama is far worse than what we had before he came along. This could mean that not only is the independent vote up for grabs but the much sought after (by democrats) freeloader vote could be as well. clarlarc
