Extremists Are More Important To The Liberal Than You Are
After spending billions for oil exploration in the Arctic Ocean in Alaska, Shell was told today by the EPA "Forget It." They did not take into account green house emissions from their ice breaker of all things. This comes on the heels of Obama sidelining the Keystone pipeline deal until after the next presidential election. Catering to the interests of environmental extremists at the expense of countless thousands of jobs, national security and lower and more reliable sources of energy might be seen as a good idea to the liberal politician but those who live in the real world are appalled at this blatant disregard for doing what's best for your fellow man. clarlarc

Thw War Against Iraq Was Not A Mistake
Going To War With Iraq Was Not A Mistake. I am tired of hearing this non-sense spewed constantly from the leftist elite who are being portrayed as correct in this assessment when they have been wrong every time in recent memory regarding national security matters. We would still be fighting the cold war had they had their way during the Reagan years such is the degree of their defective way of thinking. The opinion of someone who is always wrong is of little value. I have said I would not have launched a ground war but bombed Iraq into submission, but that is an opinion and everyone does things differently. I have no way to know if my method would have worked better or not and do not pretend otherwise. The point is, did the president have to act, and my contention is yes. Remember, shortly after 9-1-1 every intelligence agency in the world, our own intelligence organizations and the former administration's intelligence operatives told the president that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and a desire to use them against us and these weapons could and probably would be easily handed off to terrorists and kill millions of American citizens. Imagine any US President being told of such a threat and not acting. Taking this threat out was essential, you could make an argument as far as the method goes, but not the central point. The liberals should be asked why they would not take out such a glaring eminent threat, conservatives being asked why they did is a sad commentary of how stupid we have become. By the way, no soldier died in vain as is the conclusion liberals expect us to draw from their argument of a war that should not have been waged. It had to be done otherwise hundreds of thousands or millions of American lives could have easily been wiped out from weapons of mass destruction in the hands of a mad man that intended to use them. And the argument he did not have them at the moment might comfort the liberal but the fact that he had everything in place to quickly produce anything he wanted is in the view of those living in the real world a distinction without a difference. clarlarc

Smoking Causes Hysteria
Herman Cain's chief of staff, Mark Block, puts out a viral campaign video singing Cain's praises while smoking a cigarette and the news media is dumbfounded wondering about the implications or what it means. What kind of idiots have we become that someone smoking a cigarette can cause imaginations to run wild with speculation over the consequences of displaying normal human behavior. I would not be surprised if Block knew exactly what the reaction to this video would be and planned it this way. clarlarc
